Leticia Bocos

Born in Buenos Aires, Leticia began her adventurous life discovering the great Río de la Plata by kayak.

While she was attending university she acquired her love for hiking and discovered the mountains in a local mountain club. She took climbing and mountaineering courses what took her to spend all her free time in the outdoors. She explored the Andes of Mendoza, Peru and the ice fields in Southern Patagonia.

After graduating in business administration she moved to Bariloche, Northern Patagonia. This beautiful environment, with great lakes and wild rivers where the perfect scenario to improve her kayaking skills. She had the opportunity to learn white water kayaking and take trainings with the American Canoe Association where she became an instructor level 3, as a touring kayak specialist.

She is certified as guide by the National Parks administration and by the local coast guard as well. She also trained herself in First Aids, receiving the Wilderness First Responder certification. While living in Bariloche, she wondered about the knowledge of the place, flora, fauna and history. This is when she entered the guiding school and became a tour guide.

She has been leading expeditions and guiding in wild and remote regions, as kayaking in the North Sea, Patagonia, Central Andes and heading explorations in Antarctica.

Leticia wants to meet you and share her knowledge and would love that you can appreciate and enjoy these places as much as she does.
